Personal data protection

This page explains how Dimako Slovakia s.r.o. processes the personal data of visitors to dimako-logistic.com, clients and job applicants in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection.

2. What data we process

contact details you provide when contacting us by phone, e-mail, WhatsApp or Viber: name, phone number, e-mail address and the content of your message;
applicant data from the driver application form: name, contact details, nationality, work experience and information about driving documents;
client and partner data required to conclude and perform transport contracts;
technical data: IP address, browser type and request time in server logs.

3. Purposes and legal bases

responding to your enquiry and preparing a quote — steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
selecting job applicants — steps prior to entering into an employment contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
performance of contracts and accounting and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR);
security and proper functioning of the website — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Driver application form

The application form is hosted on Zoho Survey (Zoho Corporation). Zoho processes the data you enter in the form on our behalf as a processor. Completing the form is voluntary; without it we cannot consider your application.

5. Cookies and third-party services

The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track visitors. Your chosen colour theme is stored only in your browser. When pages load, your IP address is received by embedded services: Google Maps (the map on the “Contacts” page) and jsDelivr (data for the route map).

6. Recipients of data

Data is processed by our processors: DigitalOcean (hosting, server in Frankfurt, EU), Google (Google Workspace e-mail) and Zoho (application form). Where a processor transfers data outside the EU, this is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Data is disclosed to public authorities only where required by law.

7. Retention periods

enquiries and correspondence — up to 1 year after the last contact;
applications — until the end of the selection process, or up to 2 years with your consent;
contracts and accounting documents — for the periods required by law;
server logs — up to 14 days.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object to processing and to withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, write to info@dimako-logistic.com — we will reply within one month.

9. Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, dataprotection.gov.sk.
